Patricia Ann Theseas (Gambol), 68, left this world surrounded by her loving family, at home, on April 12th, 2017. Born in Dumas, Texas on May 9th, 1948 to Nettie Ruth Gambol and Leo Eugene Gambol and graduating from Dumas High School.
Pat was one of the most talented artists and handcraft makers west of the Mississippi! She provided so much of her time to projects that helped others, especially her grandchildren and worked most of her adult life to make sure her children and grandchildren had the necessities to survive. She was officially diagnosed with Dementia in 2011 and had already begun to lose bits of her memory. By 2015, she had lost the ability to do much of anything on her own. In 2016, she was diagnosed with cancer which would be the thing that finally took her from us. She is now at peace with her body and more importantly with her mind. We love and miss you already mom!
Patricia was preceeded in death by her parents, Nettie Ruth and Leo Eugene Gambol, a sister Carolyn (Callie) Decker and a granddaughter, Amanda Lynn Grayston.
She is survived by three daughters, Randi Koym of Tulsa, Ok, Rhonda Murphy of Oklahoma City and Maria Nations and Husband Shane of Witchita, Kansas. Two sons, Robbi Alexander and Michael Roberts of Broken Arrow, Ok. Three sisters, Shirley Lopez of Borger, Tx, Dixie Cochran of Tell, Tx. Terri Hughes and Husband Randy of Ft. Worth Texas. One Brother, Larry Gambol and wife Pam of Childress Tx. Grandchildren: Stephanie Carrisalez and Husband Lionel of Oklahoma City Oklahoma, Jordan Tate of Tulsa, Ok., Jonathon Guzman of Childress, Tx, Amber Guzman of Yukon, Ok., Haven, Jaden and Danna Nations of Wichita and I can't forget her fur-grandbabies, Prince, Pepe, Plato and Peanut of Broken Arrow, Ok. Three great-granchildren, Rili, Rhyder and Rhyon Dreschler of Oklahoma City, Ok. As well as numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Per Pat's wishes there will not be a service at this time. There will be a private memorial at a later date.
Very special thanks to the New Century Hospice Staff, especially Heather, Sherry and Cheryl. You were such a great help in these last couple of weeks. You'll always be in our hearts. And a very special thank you to LIFE-Adult Day Center in Broken Arrow for the past few years of helping keeping mom socialized and her mind stimulated. (anybody looking for a good cause to donate to please consider LIFE - Adult Services. They are an amazing program that could use the donations!)
