Karen Jean Testerman, the daughter of Elmer Matthews and Nadine (Horn) Campbell, was born April 25, 1957 in Astoria, Oregon and passed from this life on December 29, 2016 at the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 8 months and 4 days.
Karen was a resident of the Nicut area, moving from Kansas City when she was young. Her family meant everything to her and she enjoyed every minute she was able to spend with them. She often traveled to Nashville to visit her son and grandchildren there. Karen enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, baking, working outside with her flowers and plants and loved playing with her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Matthews.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory a loving family which includes, her children, Isaac Testerman of Nashville, TN, Nihjal Testerman and wife Yasmine of Barling, AR, Addison Testerman and Shiloh Testerman, both of the home; her mother, Nadine Campbell of Nicut; brothers, Bill Matthews of Nicut and Kevin Matthews of Nashville, TN; sisters, Diane Morton, of Sallisaw, Denise Dorrough, of Barling, AR and Beverly Flynn, of Fort Smith, AR; grandchildren, Aaron and Alexis Testerman, of Mt. Juliet, TN and a step granddaughter, Katy Finney, of Mt. Juliet, TN and the father of her children, Wallace Testerman, of Muldrow. Several nieces, nephews and many friends also survive her.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Final arrangements were entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
