August 28, 1918 ~ August 21, 2003

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 25, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. for Daisy Violet Tellyer.

Visitation will also be held on Sunday, August 24, 2003, from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Daisy was born on August 28, 1918, in Chandler, Oklahoma and went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2003.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Clara Rogers.

She is survived by her son, Roger Tellyer; grandchildren, Tonya, Jackie and Todd; great grandchildren, Alexandria and Sean; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Tellyer was the first Mrs. Santa Claus for the city of Bakersfield and participated in many parades. She was also involved in the past president of Children's Homes Society Auxiliary, member of Hillcrest Business and Professional Women's Club and Museum Alliance. She was also the past director of the Board of Realtors.

What brought her the most joy was her son, Roger.

A special thank you to Tom and Wanda Cooley and Parkview Julian and Staff for all their love and support.
