Jerry Clyde Telford

Jerry Clyde Telford
June 5, 1941 ~ October 6, 2022 (age 81)

Jerry Clyde Telford was born June 5, 1941, to Clarence Telford and Clara (Henson) Telford. Jerry would depart this life on October 6, 2022, at his home with his wife and loved ones by his side.

Jerry is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Barbara May (Henson) Telford of Stilwell, Oklahoma; his children, son Barry Telford of Riverside, California, daughter Peggy Bone and Mike of Hemet, California, Tammy Sue Osborn of Hemet, California; his sisters, Lena Bacon and John of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Betty Lou of Texas, Karen of Illinois; his six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by both his parents, Clarence and Clara Telford; his sons Phillip Telford and Richard Lee Telford; his brothers, Frank Telford, Billy Telford, and Steve Telford.

When you remember Jerry, one of the first things that comes to mind was how proud he was to be a Marine. He lived by the motto, “Once a Marine, Always a Marine!” Being a corporal in the Marines, serving for years, he was very proud of this accomplishment. “Semper Fi!”

If Jerry wasn’t working on or building his own computers from the ground up, he could possibly be found camping, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time on the boat. For Jerry, getting his diploma in the last few years, was one of his greatest achievements and the family remembers the moment very fondly.

Jerry wouldn’t want anyone to be sad for too long. He would want everyone to remember the love, laughter, and to hug each other often.

Funeral Service was held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church, Stilwell, OK under the direction of Roberts-Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK
