Hilari Star Smith Tayrien died unexpectedly on August 1, 2012. Hilari was born in Oklahoma City, March 24, 1975.
She is survived by her husband, Matt Tayrien, son Ryder of the home; Parents John and Chelle Miller of Wylie, Texas; maternal grandparents Louis and Hallie Lackey of Midwest City; paternal grandmother Jean Smith-Haithcock of Oklahoma City; Richard (Pat) Lackey and family; Jack (Jon Donna) Lackey and family; Chuck (Kelley) Lackey and family; and Diana (Billy) Kalkbrenner and family; In-Laws David (Linda) Tayrien; Sister-in Law Lucy (Billy) Hooper, as well as many friends.
She is preceeded in death by paternal grandfather Wallace Smith, father Michael R. Smith, and aunt Deborah Smith.
Hilari lived in Midwest City, until the age of 12, and then she moved to Plano, TX where she resided until graduating from Plano Senior High. Hilari then moved to Waco, TX and attended Baylor University, where she received her BBA degree in Marketing and Real Estate. Following graduation Hilari moved to Houston, TX and began selling new homes for Pulte and Lennar Homes.
Hilari married Matt in 2004, and the following year she welcomed the love of her life, Ryder David. After the birth of Ryder, Hilari began working for Martha Turner and later for Keller Williams Realtors in Houston, TX. Hilari also recently became a member of the downtown Houston Lions Club. Hilari was always the bright light in any room she entered. She made friends with everyone she met. Hilari's beautiful blue eyes and bright smile will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Hilari was taken from the people who loved her too quickly, but she will remain the bright star in everyones' hearts and memories.
A memorial service for Hilari in Houston. TX, is pending. Services will be held Monday, August 6, 2012, at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home Chapel.
