Madison Payge "Maddie" Taylor

Madison Payge "Maddie" Taylor
March 13, 1988 ~ January 2, 2023

Madison Payge Taylor, known to her friends as Maddie, passed away from this life to be with her heavenly father on January 2, 2023, at the age of 34.

Maddie was born on March 13, 1988, in Tulsa Oklahoma, the daughter of Fred 0. Taylor III and Carrie J. Taylor. Maddie was a Cleveland Tiger beginning in kindergarten and graduating with the Cleveland High School Class of 2006. Maddie excelled as an athlete competing in basketball, softball, soccer, and track throughout her school years. Maddie's drive, spirit, and tenacity made her a fierce adversary in the athletic arena. It made no difference to Maddie; if she were in the backyard with friends and neighbors, someone she just met at a pick-up game, or on the court in the gym, she was fierce and yet, simultaneously making friends with her competitors along the way. After graduation, Maddie chose a path of management at Sonic Drive-in Corporation, DaVita Dialysis in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and BD Corporation in Mannford, Oklahoma. Maddie had a genuine interest in and care for all people she encountered. In her compassion and kindness for others, her acquaintances became friends. The outpouring of loving stories, calls, notes, and posts has defined her legacy. Maddie loved life, her family, and her friends. She had that contagious smile and laugh that everyone relished. Her athleticism, competitive spirit, loyalty, honesty, and integrity were cornerstones with her family and friends.

Maddie was passionate about her nephews, whom she loved and adored with all her heart. She cherished her time spent with them. Maddie's ability to be authentic, present, and direct, coupled with her warmth, charm, fantastic sense of humor, grace, and talent, let all know that she genuinely cared. She will be truly missed.

We love you, Maddie!

Survivors are her parents, Fred, and Carrie Taylor; three siblings, Abigail Buttram and her husband Kyle; Allee Hartman and her husband Gene, Jacob Taylor; paternal grandparents Fred and Peggy Taylor, Great Aunt Pat Mayle, nephews Clayton, Landon, Kane, and Krew Buttram, and Oaks Hartman; aunts and uncles; John Taylor, Michael and Pat Otte, Claudia and King Goff, Candace Bellamy, Constance and George Chiplock, Jere Kathy Bellamy, 16 cousins and 14 second cousins, She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparent, Effie Jane Bellamy, uncles Mark and Matthew Bellamy, and great-grandparents; Bud and Zora Woolsey.
