Madeline Carole (Cline) Taylor
December 19, 1943 ~ July 25, 2014

Madeline Carole Taylor, 70 year old Woodward resident, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at her home in Woodward. A memorial service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday August 4, 2014 at the Church of Christ in Shattuck. 

Madeline Carole (Cline) Taylor was born on December 19, 1943 in Buffalo, Oklahoma; she was the 7th of eight children born to Russell and Edith May (Pemberton) Cline. She was raised outside of Buffalo and attended the Rosston schools, graduating from Rosston High School in 1962.

She married her high school sweetheart and from this union two children were born, Beth and Thomas Taylor. Madeline lived on a dairy farm in Ditch Valley until she moved to Fargo in 1972. She worked at the Fruit of the Loom Factory until it closed, and then managed the Fargo Quick Stop for eight years.

Madeline worked at Wal Mart and retired after 17 years with them.

Madeline was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, red roses, and the gospel song, "Heavenly Sunshine." 

Madeline was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Edith Mae Cline; brothers, Max, Russell Jr., Albert, and Bruce Cline, brother-in-law, Charles Green and a niece, Rita.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Taylor and wife Robin of Fargo, ; one daughter, Beth Witchey and Robert Perez; three sisters, Noma and Bill Cooley of Seiling, Idell Green of Shattuck, Frances and Ed Blades of Crescent; three sisters-in-law, Marlyn Cline, Lugy Clark, and Lois Cline; six grandchildren, Shanda Rasch, Cody Rice, Kyle Rice, Jackie Patten, Jerrica Johnston, and Jami Johnston; ten great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Research.
