Josephine (Josie) Copeland Taylor, daughter of Clifford and Millie (Comstock) Hamilton, was born on February 16, 1936 in Odell, Arkansas and passed from this life on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Springdale, Arkansas at 81 years of age.
Josie was a people person. She loved visiting with those who came by while she was working in her yard. She almost always had her phone with her, even outside. Josie loved keeping up her yard, planting flowers and raking leaves. Her best friends were her critters, the dogs she cared for and loved. She remained active as long as she could, going to yard sales, gospel singings and church. Her presence will be missed by the many lives she touched.
Josie was preceded in death by her parents: Clifford and Millie Comstock, husband: Joe Copeland, sister: Jane Turley and brother: Robert Hamilton.
She is survived by her children: Joyce Maloney and husband Walter of Lincoln, AR, Darlene Pierson and husband Junior of Prairie Grove, AR, Tina Cook and husband Paul of Lincoln, AR, grandchildren: Amy Cazer and husband Keith of Goshen, AR, Alisha Langley and husband Josh of Fayetteville, AR, Justin Pierson of Prairie Grove, AR, Kimberly Tilley and husband Ben of Searcy, AR, Brent Coggins of Lincoln, AR, Dylan Cook of Siloam Springs, AR, Dalton Cook of Hartshorne, OK, great grandchildren: Brianna Cazer, Garrett Cazer, Lucas Cazer of Goshen, AR, Deegan Langley and Addistyn Langley of Fayetteville, AR, Ty Tilley and Logan Tilley of Searcy, AR, sister: Betty Copeland and husband Gib of Lincoln, AR, brother-in-law: Roy Copeland of Lincoln, AR, many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, OK with Pastor Chris Harrison officiating. Interment followed at Ganderville Cemetery, Summers, AR.
