Jessie Ray Taylor

???? ~ January 26, 1986 | Age 58

Jessie Ray Taylor, 58, Sweetwater, Oklahoma died Sunday, January 26, 1986, at the Veteran's Hospital, Oklahoma City.

Memorial services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 1986, at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, Texas with Rev. Danny Courtney, pastor of Faith Baptist Church, Pampa, officiating, assisted by Rev. Bill Hance, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Burial in Memory Gardens, Pampa, Texas.

Taylor moved to Sweetwater in 1977 from Quanah, Texas.

He was a former resident of Pampa and former police officer with the Borger and Pampa Police Departments.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sweetwater and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II.

He married Lillian Tramel on September 4, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian of the home; two sons, Dennis Ray Taylor of Amarillo, Texas; and Clinton Lee Taylor of the home; three daughters, Cyndee Parks of Pampa, Texas; Brenda Taylor Simmons of Pampa; and LaDonna Garza of Quanah, Texas; and nine grandchildren.
