Janice Lynn Tascier was born on November 14, 1957, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday July 31, 2015, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 57.
Janice, the daughter of Henry "Junior" and Wilma Hollon Brauer, and Carl and Mary Tascier, was a resident of Prague.
She married Allen Tascier on September 9, 1977 at Deer Creek Baptist Church in Prague.
Janice was a long time member of Faith Bible Church in Prague.
Mrs. Janice began her life-long passion of child care and child development in 1985 spending the last ten of those years at the Citizen Pottawotomi Nation.
Janice was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, and "Nana" to her beloved granddaughter, Nellie.
Janice's father Junior Brauer, and two brothers, Phillip Brauer and Kenneth Brauer preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Allen Tascier of the home; sons and daughters, Chad Tascier, Justin Tascier, Ashley Calmes-Tascier and Christina Tascier; mother, Wilma, Brauer; brothers and sisters; Ronnie Brauer, Donnie Brauer, Michael Tascier, Dale Tascier, Mikeal Rankin, Delwin Jones, Sue Brauer, Jeanine Jones and Jannie Rankins; granddaughter, Annelle Tascier and many other friends and family.
The Tascier family will receive friends on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Oklahoma County, 4334 NW Expressway, Suite 106, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73116.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Pastor Scott Smith officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
