Joseph Talley, Jr. Passed away the evening of March 18th, 2019 at the age of 62 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Joe was born on October 11, 1956 to Pearline and Joseph H Talley, Sr. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Joe grew up in the Tulsa area and graduated from Booker T Washington High School, Go Hornets!, in 1973.

Joe married his soul mate Judy Arnold in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 12, 2012. Joe's favorite job was working at Blockbuster Video. He was employed there for over 10 years, only leaving because the company closed the doors. Joe had seen just about every movie they carried and was affectionately known as Joe Blockbuster to all the patrons. After Blockbuster closed Joe worked as a substance abuse counselor at Bridgeway with the Work Release Re-entry Program. After 14 years as a counselor he retired in 2014 which allowed him to spend as much time as possible with family.

Joe was known for his love of family and being an avid Marvel Fan. He watched every Marvel movie multiple times and grew quite a collection of Marvel action figures and figurines.

Joe leaves behind his wife; Judy Talley, of the family home, daughter; Lashelle Whitmore, of Las Vegas, NV, bonus children; Chantae Delaney (fianc� Milton Kinley) , of Ponca City, OK, Tiffany (Larry) Delaney Blunt, of Ponca City, OK, Jackie Eugene (Jen) Delaney of Chapman, KS, grandchildren; Russell Whitmore II and Miles Whitemore, bonus grandchildren; Mercedes, Beriah, Tristan, Kaylee, Alexis, Oceyonna, Leonte, Dezmirae, Kenzie, Markell, Laira, Laina and Trenton, and bonus great-grandchild; Abrielle. Joe is predeceased by his parents.

A Day of Visitation has been scheduled for Joe on Friday, March 22, 2019, from 9am to 8pm, at Grace Memorial Chapel, 2016 N. 14th Street, Ponca City, OK, 580-762-2464.
