Edward P. Swope of Chino Valley, Arizona, died at Prescott Community Hospital June 7, 1969.
Funeral services were held June 10, 1969 at Sacred Heart Church in Prescott, Arizona with burial was in Chino Valley.
He was born in Edmond, Oklahoma December 4, 1893.
He came to Roger Mills County, Oklahoma in 1903.
He was married to Madell Trammell in 1915. They resided in Hemphill County, Texas and Roger Mills County, Oklahoma until 1937.
Mr. Swope is survived by his wife, Madell; three daughters, Mrs. Fern Holbrook and Mrs. Jo Ann Conner, both of Whittier, California; and Mrs. Bobbye Phillips of Lake Elsinore, California. He is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Mary Trammell and Mrs. Vivian Stickley, both of Reydon, Oklahoma; Mrs. Irene Barbee and Mrs. Celia O'Hearn, both of Victorville, California; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
