Marvin Joseph Switzer passed away September 29, 2021, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the age of 68.
He was born to John Switzer and Beatrice Tortu in Lansing, Michigan, on July 19, 1953. Marvin earned his education in Lansing and graduated from Everett High School. He gained knowledge in many different areas of work and worked years as a handyman. On December 26, 1997, Marvin married the love of his life, Loretta Switzer. Marvin had many hobbies including camping, fishing, watching NASCAR races, puzzles, and hanging out with his friends, but he loved spending time with his kids more than anything. Marvin was a Christian, he loved going to church and being a part of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Beatrice Switzer, and his brothers Randy and Jack Switzer.
Marvin is survived by his wife Loretta Switzer, his sisters Jan Spear and husband Chris, Judy Switzer and Ruth Switzer, his children: Kaitlynn Switzer of Bartlesville, Cordell Switzer of Muskegon, Michigan, Savannah Switzer Wood of Marlon, Michigan, Colleen Switzer Kalkaska, Michigan, Jennifer Schrader of Lansing, Michigan, and stepdaughter Miranda Coolidge Meeton of Portland, Michigan, and many nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
