A Celebration of Life service for Dana Gayle Swiggett age 68 of Enid will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Alan Seibel officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Dana was born February 4, 1947 in Enid, OK to Leon Graham and Lois Bryson and passed away on January 22, 2016 at her home after a brief illness. She attended and graduated from Enid High School in 1964. She attended Northwestern State University and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1969. She went to work for Champlin Company in 1969. Dana married Vernon Swiggett in May of 1972 in Hastings, NE. They moved to Woodward where she went to work for Fruit of the Loom, sewing elastic in men�s underwear. She lived in Grand Prairie, TX, Tulsa, and Leawood, KS. In 1984, she moved back to Enid, where she went to work for Garfield County District Attorney�s office as a secretary until she passed away. She was a big supporter of RSVP and Enid SPCA.
Dana is survived by her children Emily Patton and husband Rick of Enid and Scott Swiggett and wife Julia of Oklahoma City, five grandchildren and a grandson to be born in February, two sisters Debi Williams and husband Dewayne of Enid and Connie Peak and friend Bill Kerr of Oklahoma City, WaWa sisters, Connie Johndrow and Linda Green, and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step father John Provost, and her brother Bruce Graham.
Memorials may be made to the RSVP, Enid SPCA or Team Gunner with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
