Gundar Swenke passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Jane Phillips Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Bartlesville Health & Rehabilitation Community with Chaplain Mike McDougan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Gundar Harl Swenke was born February 10, 1969 in San Jose, CA to Walter and Evelyn (Carroll) Swenke. Gundar married Valerie Walker on July 11, 2005 in Dewey, OK.
Gundar was a renaissance man. He enjoyed working with his hands, whether it was building airplanes or wooden boats. His passion was his family and friends and being a giving, loving person. He continued this legacy by being an organ donor.
Gundar is survived by his wife Valerie and children; Joshua, Maxine, Shayna, Connor, Miranda and Jacob. Brothers; Dale, Homer, Cameron, Cary and Walter Jr. along with two sisters; Desiree and Becky.
Gundar was preceded in death by his parents.
