Celebration of life services for Bertha May Sweet, 71, Fairmont, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Pastor Mark Blakeman, officiating. Bertha was born and raised on her family’s farm in Ringwood, OK. She married her high school sweetheart, Raymond Sweet on November 11, 1967 and they shared a remarkable 54 years of marriage and friendship together. Bertha greatly enjoyed greeting racing fans at the Enid Speedway for over 20 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Sweet; two brothers, Robert Chambers of South Dakota and Elmer Chambers, Jr. of Enid; three sisters, Mary Stephens of Olathe, Kansas, Sandy Dow of Fairview and Ruth Stubblefield of Enid.
