Larry E Swatsenberg, son of Purl A. and Lillie G. Dozier Swatsenberg, was born on September 26, 1945 in Woodland, California and passed from this life on Monday, March 17, 2014 in Watts, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years.
He married Linda Christoph on September 20, 1972 in Conroe, Texas and they were blessed with a long and wonderful marriage. Larry spent many years in the U. S. Army as a Motor Pool Sergeant. He also worked as a carpenter in the construction business. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, who will be deeply missed.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents: Purl Lillie Swatsenberg, sister: Josie Turknett and brother: Church Swatsenberg.
He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife: Linda of the home in Watts, OK, children: Michelle and husband Gregg Jewsbury of Berryville, AR, Larry and wife Norma Swatsenberg of Bastrop, LA, Gail and husband Dean Clarenson of Siloam Springs, AR, Daniel and wife Natalie Swatsenberg of Siloam Springs, Mark and wife Jett Swatsenberg of Tahlequah, OK, brothers: Hubert and wife Eleanor Swatsenberg of California, Kenneth Swatsenberg of California, Ronnie and wife Jewel Swatsenberg of CA, Gary Swatsenberg of Siloam Springs, sisters: Betty and husband Ken Kadrie of CA, Carol Pathkiller of WV, Peggy and husband Ken Filmore of Watts, grandchildren: Jeremy and Nikki Johnson, Johnathon Breaux, Tony Breaux, Chris Clarenson, Alyssa, Alec and Destiny Swatsenberg, Cameron Swatsenberg, April Gorski, Roberta and Tammy Swatsenberg, 13 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
