Rosa L. (Johnson) Sullivan

June 21, 1906 ~ September 26, 1993

Kiowa, Kansas. - The funeral for Rosa L. Sullivan, 87, will be at 2 PM Thursday at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Kiowa. The Rev. Harold Wisegarver will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery under direction of Fisher Funeral Home.

The casket will be open at the funeral home from 9 AM until 9 PM today.

She was born June 21, 1906, in Kiowa, Kansas, to William W. and Mary E. Cantrell Johnson and died Sunday, September 26, 1993, in Madison, South Dakota. She was a homemaker and a retired restaurant cook. She had lived in the Kiowa area until 1988 when she moved to Madison, South Dakota.

On November 14, 1928, she married Wade W. Sullivan at Alva. He died October 4, 1980. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are one daughter, Donna Lee DeMaray of Madison; two brothers, Leonard Johnson of Kiowa and Lee Johnson of Kingman, Kansas; two sisters, Eunice Goebel of Leroy, Kansas, and Olive Sullivan of Amorita; three grandchildren; and eight great �grandchildren.
