A Celebration of Life for Nora Jean Sturgeon will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Community Bible Church of Lahoma. A luncheon will follow the service. Obituary is courtesy of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Nora Jean Sturgeon went to her heavenly home Friday April 30. She passed away at her home with her loyal caregiver at her side. Nora was born January 26, 1956, to Jack R. and Mildred Craddock Sturgeon at Hennessey.
Nora worked on the family farm for many years and went to work for Roberts Ranch until poor health caused her retirement. Throughout her entire life she loved horses, the race track and family rides. She had numerous cousins and many dear friends who will miss her.
Nora is survived by her sister, Cathy Sturgeon Howard of Hennessey; son, Justin Howard and fiancé Christina Reeves of Woodward; brother, Tom Sturgeon and wife Shelly; nieces, Tyler Haken and husband Derek, Morgan Sturgeon of Perkins, Jaclyn Lazenby and husband Ty of Edmond, and her most belovesd great nephew and niece Hazen Haken and Dally Haken of Perkins.
She left behind her loyal companions Rufus and Buddy and her loving caregiver Sherry Crawford Gray.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Midge; grandparents, all of her aunts, uncles, and several cousins.
