Evie Sturdevant

Nov. 13, 1913 ~ June 8, 2002

DURANT, Okla. - Evie Sturdevant, 88, died Saturday, June 8, 2002.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, Texas, with Tom Posey officiating. Arrangements are by Coffey/Murray Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sturdevant was born Nov. 13, 1913, in Fannin County, Texas. She had lived all of her life in Hall County, Texas.

Survivors include a son, Jimmy Sturdevant of Roanoke, Texas; five daughters, Leota Mathes of Amarillo, Texas, Billie Wyatt and Linda McCreary, both of Mead, and Yvonne Koetting and Susan Maxwell, both of Borger, Texas; a sister, Wilma Hanna of Tulsa; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
