Cynthia Helen 'Cindy' (Quintero) Stumblingbear
November 8, 1961 ~ September 17, 2020 (age 58)

Cynthia Helen (Quintero) Stumblingbear was born November 8, 1961, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Francisco E. and Lela Mae (Alverson) Quintero. She passed away September 17, 2020, at her home in Duncan. She was 58.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, at 3:00 P.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Owens officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Cindy graduated from Capitol Hill High School and received a Bachelor’s degree in Indian Affairs from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. She worked as a part supervisor for Hydra Rig.

When she was younger, she played softball and volleyball. She was a fan of OU and Thunder. She was a member of Freedom Biker Church. She loved her family and worked multiple jobs to provide and support her children.

Cindy is survived by her children: Ashley Quintero of Irving, Texas, Paul and Amanda Barraza of Comanche, Luke Barraza and Charyl Winslett of Duncan; grandchildren: Daton Winslett, Eracia Williams, Kai-Adam Quintero; brother, Tymothy and Toshia Quintero of Streetman, Texas; nieces and nephews, Marcus Quintero, Rachel Bratcher, Dana Quintero, Taylor Quintero, Tayce Quintero; and special families: Scott and Sheila Anderson and family, Patsy Lee, Mary Gunter and family, Dana Anderson and family, Larry Bodine and family, Phelps family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew Stumblingbear; brothers, Gene Quintero, Frankie Quintero; grandma, Pauline Quintero; and nephew, Michael Quintero.
