Peggy C. Struble, 82, of Roswell, Idaho, died Monday, December 5, 2022, at home peacefully of natural causes.
Peggy was born on September 27, 1940, in Aline, Oklahoma, to Frank Paul Shippy and Winifred Lorene (Farabee) Shippy. She moved with her family to Weiser, Idaho, where she graduated from Weiser High School. In March of 1968 Peggy returned to Oklahoma where she married Donald Dean Struble in Enid, Oklahoma. Peggy and Don raised their family in Enid, and she continued living there after Don's death in 1990. She ran a day care in Enid where she touched the lives of many children. Peggy eventually moved to Roswell, Idaho, where she resided at the time of her death.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing, garage sales and cooking but above all the time she spent with her grandchildren was her most cherished moments.Peggy was a member of the Followers of Christ.
Survivors include her children, Kila and Eric Grandeen of Caldwell, ID, Kyle and Corrin Struble of Rimbey, Alberta, Canada, Molly and Andy Licklider of Monument, Colorado, Chuck and Vickie Struble of Oklahoma and Bart and Shelli Struble of Oklahoma; siblings, Polly Evans, Debbie Ruggs, Mark Shippy, Bobby Shippy, Kay Grinde, Steven Shippy and Greg Shippy; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Struble; parents, Frank and Lorene Shippy; brothers, Ricky, Joseph and Stuart Shippy; and sisters, Phyllis Goetz and Patty Denton.
A graveside service was held on December 9, 2022, at Peaceful Valley Cemetery, Caldwell, Idaho.
