Debra Ann “Debbie” Strobel, 60, of Bethany, Oklahoma, passed away prematurely on July 24, 2020 after discovering she had a rapid growing cancer just a few weeks prior. She was born September 16, 1959 in Ryan, Oklahoma, the daughter of Raymond Laverne Cantrell, Sr. and Barbara Josephine (Huskey) Stonebreaker and stepdaughter of Howard E. Stonebreaker.
She worked as a kitchen assistant and crossing guard for Bethany Earl Harris Elementary School for many years and was loved by workers, students, and parents alike. And Debbie, the animal lover that she was, finished her career as a veterinary assistant. She enjoyed going out on the trike with her husband or in the motor home with her husband and sons and of course their pets traveling the countryside seeing new things and meeting new people. Deb never knew a stranger and was a friend to all she met. She loved gardening, doing various crafts and spending time at the lake house.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, mother, stepfather, her son Don, brother Laverne, Jr., brother Eddie, and sister Laura (Shelly). She is survived by her husband Kenneth, son Shaun, sister Linna Graham and husband Chuck of Oklahoma City, sister Vicki Prince and husband Stewart of Bethany, and many, many nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held for the family.
