Justin Kyle Straughan

Justin Kyle Straughan
January 28, 1982 ~ June 13, 2023

Justin Kyle Straughan earned his wings to be with his Lord and Savior on June 13, 2023. Justin was born on January 28, 1982 to Gary Louis Straughan and Debra Ann Straughan at Oklahoma Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at Putnam City Baptist Church. He was a loving father, son, brother, cousin, uncle and best friend.

Justin was a walking angel to everyone he came into contact with. He knew no stranger. He had the most contagious laugh, smile and kind heart anyone could ask for. He would give you the shirt off his back. Justin was the best devoted father to his amazing, loving and spitting image daughter, Taylore. He loved to drive fast muscle cars, build and also restore them. He also loved to restore furniture, watch OU football, watch wrestling and listen to an array of good 80’s and 90’s music. Most of all, he loved spending all his time with family and friends.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis B. Straughan and wife Jean Straughan, Don Hill Sr. and wife Carolyn Hill; Uncle Craig Addison; and loving friend Christine Raunborg Hernandez.

He was survived by his daughter, Taylore Straughan; parents, Gary and Debra Straughan; sisters Heather Straughan, Camarie Hall and husband Kevin; nephew, Blayne; niece, Evie-June; uncles, Russ Woodward, Donnie Hill and Dean Hill; aunts, Sandra Woodward and Diana Addison; cousins, Kristen and husband Nick, Angela and husband Chris, Joel and wife Kelsey, Jessica and husband Toby, Ryan, Ashley, Albany and Kennedy.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm on June 19 at Putnam City Baptist Church, 11401 N. Rockwell Avenue in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Putnam City Baptist Church in Justin's memory.

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. The righteous man who dies is taken from evil, he enters into peace."

2 Corinthians 5:8
