Celebration of Life Service to be planned for a later date.
Sandra Jean (Wolfe) Stokes, 77, of Tulsa, OK was born April 17, 1948, in Detroit, MI, to Marcus Lee Wolfe and Ethel (Carter) Lee. She passed away November 4, 2025, in Tulsa, OK.
Sandra was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love for her family was at the heart of everything she did. A woman of many gifts, she spent her life sharing her talents as both a teacher and an actress. She found joy in singing, dancing, and playing bingo, and she loved preparing meals for every special occasion. Sandra’s vibrant spirit and generous heart will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, Samuel Walter Stokes, Mauricia Darcel Stokes, and Sharon Freeman and husband, Trent; grandchildren, Michael Lamont Givens, Malachi Lee Givens, Marcus Stokes, Sheann Stokes-Gilmore, Michaelle Lee Gillis, Jackie “Pooh” Braden, Keesha Flood, Shakiya Freeman, and Keenan Freeman; great-grandchildren, Jeszelle Stokes, Liberia Stokes, Marcus Stokes, Jr.; and; sisters, Ann-Marie Walko, and June M. Williams; cousins, Ronald and Monica Carter and son, Jayden; and numerous other beloved cousins; “the Cat”, Magic Stokes; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rosaline Stokes; her parents, Marcus L. Wolfe and Ethel Lee; and brother, Marcus Wolfe.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
