Wanda June (McNally) Stinson
June 3, 1931 ~ May 18, 2009

Wanda June Stinson, longtime Cushing resident, passed away Monday evening, May 18, 2009 in the Cushing Regional Hospital at the age of 77 years.

The daughter of the late Victor E. McNally and Iva Treva Hogue McNally, Wanda was born on June 3, 1931 in Fairfax, OK. She was reared and educated in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School

She was united in marriage to Paul E. Stinson in February 1957. He preceded her in death in 1973.

Wanda was a member of the Cushing Christian Church.

She worked for the Cushing Regional Hospital as a Medical Technologist from 1978-1990. She loved antiques and was an antique dealer in Cushing for 8 years. She also enjoyed collecting expensive Italian china and reading.

Wanda loved to tell the story about her and her two sisters singing on the radio when they were young.

Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Lanham of Cushing and Paula Strom and her husband David of Burlington, Wisconsin; one son, Randy Stinson and his wife Angie of El Dorado, Kansas; four grandchildren, Stacie Casey, Stefanie Stiles, Bailey Strom and Ryne Strom; one great-grandchild, Bryan Casey and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Wanda was preceded in death by two sisters, Eva Merkel and Donna Ness and one son-in-law, Wayne Lanham.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Cushing Christian Church with Pastor Jim Forrest, officiating.
