Chase Manley Stinson
September 24, 1996 ~ July 10, 2023

Chase Manley Stinson, 26, of Blanchard, passed away early Monday morning, July 10, 2023 in Norman, Oklahoma. The son of Chad Everette and Jeanne Marie (Roberson) Stinson, Chase was born in Springfield, Missouri on September 24, 1996.

Chase moved to Blanchard when he was four years old and has made his home in Blanchard since then. Chase was a 2015 graduate of Blanchard High School where he was on the wrestling team and football team. He also was a part of the Explorer Program his junior year which inspired his love for law enforcement. Chase worked for Blanchard Police Department for five years and for the last three for the Grady County Sheriff's Office as a School Resource Officer. This position fulfilled Chase’s love for law enforcement as well as a desire to work with students. In addition, Chase was a firearms instructor for CLEET.

Chase’s hobbies included shooting and collecting guns, fishing, and video games. Chase married Maria Nicole Guerrero on January 14, 2020. He loved his family and especially being a father. He was always there if you needed him, just a phone call away. His family describes him as a mama’s boy, a title he proudly wore. He was especially close to his brother Joey and cousin, Jacob. His loss will leave a huge hole in the lives of all who knew him.

Chase is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ron Stinson.

He is survived by his wife of three years, Maria Nicole Stinson; one daughter, Hadlee Marie Stinson; parents, Chad and Jeanne Stinson; brother, Joey Tyler Stinson and wife Delayni; parents-in-law, Aurelio and Gina Guerrero; sisters-in-law, Ashley Norman and husband Charles and Miley Guerrero; brother-in-law, Cameron Guerrero; nephew, Grayson Norman; grandmothers, Peggy McBride and Mary Stinson; cousin, Jacob Christopher and wife Laura; second mom, Jennifer Hughes (his friend, Lane’s mom); and numerous other cousins, aunts, uncles and other loving family members, friends, and co-workers.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the First Baptist Church of Blanchard Services are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard, OK. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.

Grady County deputy dies in motorcycle crash, sheriff's office announces

GRADY COUNTY, Okla. — The Grady County Sheriff's Office is mourning one of its own after a deputy was killed in a motorcycle crash over the weekend.

Deputy Chase Stinson died after the sheriff's office said his motorcycle crashed Sunday night. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and authorities have not said where the crash occurred.
