Victoria Stinnett, 51 year old Woodward resident, died Thursday, February 21, 2019 in Woodward. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
Victoria Lee (Wells) Stinnett was born on February 28, 1967 in Denton, Texas to Devo Weldon and Charlene Mary (Hanson) Wells. Victoria grew up in Carter, Oklahoma on a farm. Her adulthood was spent in Sayre. She attended Carter schools and graduated from Carter High School. Victoria later went to nursing school in Burns Flat and received her LPN degree. Victoria spent most of her time in Sayre until having her children and finally settling in Woodward.
She was united in marriage to David Lynn Stinnett in 2005 in Higgins, Texas. They made their home in Woodward. Victoria spent her life working as a nurse at different places. She loved being a nurse and helping people. She enjoyed camping every summer with her kids and family. She loved to fish and spend time with her grandchildren. Victoria also loved to do theater and playing Bingo.
Her family gave her the most enjoyment in life. She always looked forward to the holidays and everyone coming together. She loved to cook for everyone.
She is survived by her husband David Stinnett; her children, Jessie Wells and wife Dora, Chantel Ashlock and husband Michael, Allen Beam, Miles Beam and wife Katie, Austin Beam and wife Amanda; five grandchildren, Xavier Fisher, Angela Wells, Gracie Wells, Alex Wells, Rachel Kozicki and two more on the way; one sister April Carter and husban Luther and their two children; one brother James Wells and wife Veda and their nine children; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandma, her aunt and best friend.
