L.P. was born in Los Angeles, California on July 28, 1944 to the late Leonard Perry Stiles Sr. & Frances (Davis) Stiles. He was raised & educated in Highland Park, California and was a graduate of South Gate High School. He continued his education at the L.A. Trade Tech. He married Susan Steeley on June 23, 1969 & they made their home in California. They moved to Drumright in 1979 & had remained here since then. L.P. was a machinist and worked for McDonald Douglas & Webco in Tulsa for 28+ years before his retirement in 2007.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, and loved spending time with his family and grandkids. He was a kind man & would give you the shirt off of his back if need be. He will be missed by many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Sam & Delbert Stiles; 1 Sister: Retta Turley; Nieces: Teresa Ann Stiles-Piper & Denise Stiles-McKeehen; & Nephew: Dennis Stiles.
He leaves behind his loving wife: Susan Stiles of the home; 3 Daughters: Cassandra Wilson & husband Clifford – Amber Tuttle – Samantha Howell & husband Mike, all of Drumright; Grandchildren: Cassidy – Callie – Satarah – Dave, Jr. – Caitlyn – Sidney – Rylee – Carlie – Addison – Gavin – Aaron - & Michealla; Great Grandchildren: Avery – Winston – Naveah – Adalynn – Audrey – Eli – Leonardo - & Eloise; Brother: John Stiles & wife LaVon of Washington State; & several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives, & friends.
