Steven “Steve” John Stewart, age 62, formerly of Del City passed away Friday, October 16, 2020. He was born on January 30, 1958 in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to parents, Bobbie D. Stewart, and Sylvia J. Stewart.
He was married to Arlene “Kaye” Ambrose for 18 years and Sherri D. Denison for 8 years.
Steve served in the army for 4 years. He worked for Braum’s for 18 years and was skilled in baking and handyman work.
He enjoyed fishing, going to the gun range, home repair, and watching tv like cooking shows and Pawn Stars. He loved being with his kids and grandkids, and just spending time with family. Steve didn’t care about blood, to him family is family. He was very protective of his loved ones. Steve will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors. A very bright light has moved on to heaven.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sherri D. Denison; father, Bobbie D. Stewart; brothers, Gary D. Stewart, Ronald E. Stewart; and sister, Beverly J. Whetstone.
He is survived by his mother, Sylvia J. Stewart; brothers, Thomas A. Stewart, DeWayne K. Stewart, Paul A. Stewart, Joseph M. Stewart; sisters, Cynthia K. Like, Mary A. Stewart, Michele D. Stewart, Bobbie J. Pearson; Children, Bryan E. McDowell, Sylvia R. Stewart, Rebekah K. Head, Brittany L. Stewart, Stefani L. Stewart; grandchildren, Seth R. McDowell, Zachariah E. Cook, Wesley H. Cook, Shandell D. Cook, Sabrae R. Cook, Xander S. Cook, Bailey A. Beaver, Lucas J. Beaver, Trisha D. Boarders, and one grandchild on the way
