Russel Stewart

December 20, 1955 ~ May 17, 2004

Funeral services for Russel Stewart, 48, Cyril, were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2004, at the First Baptist Church, Cyril, Oklahoma, with Rev. Donald Wright, pastor. Midway Baptist Church, Cyril, officiating.

Mr. Stewart died Monday in an Oklahoma City hospital.

Mr. Stewart was born December 20, 1955, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Hershal Stewart and Isabell Lingle. He grew up and attended school in Cement and Cyril.

He was an oil field worker most of his life and worked the last 20 years with Ouachita Oil Company. He married Nancy Gayle Niedo in 1985.

Survivors include: His wife Nancy of the home; his mother, Isabell Lingle, Cyril, Oklahoma; father, Hershal Stewart, Tecumseh, Oklahoma; brother, Terry Stewart, Cyril, Oklahoma; two sisters, Teressa Housley and her husband Woody, Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Renae Nail and her husband Timmy, Blanchard, Oklahoma; three sons, John, Jaycen, and Brian Stewart, Cyril, Oklahoma; three daughters, Jessica Caudill and her husband James and Marcie Cornielius and her husband Billy, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Adrianna Cody, Cyril, Oklahoma; grandmother, Ellen Scott, Cyril, Oklahoma; grandsons, Jordan Stewart, Ninnekah, Oklahoma, Billy Jack, James Emanuel Dean, Baden Champ; granddaughters, Ahlia, Lexy and Jamie, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a host of others int he Stewart's, Niedo's and Scott's families; many great nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Stewart; grandfather, Lewis Scott; great grandparents, Scotts and Browns; grandsons, Jessie James and Billy Josh, infants; uncles and aunts; niece, Dana Golden and cousin, Brent Scott.
