Jerry Neal Stewart, 78, of Collinsville passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born on January 22, 1942 in Comanche, OK to Retis and Bonnie (Doty) Stewart.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Church of the Nazarene in Collinsville, with Pastor Tim Odom officiating.
Jerry married Peggy Parrie on May 20, 1961. They have lived in the Collinsville area since 1975 having moved from Bethany, OK. Jerry was a remodeler by trade. His ability to fix things carried over into his hobbies where he could often be found tinkering with any number of projects, helping countless friends and neighbors, and serving his church.
Jerry is survived by his wife Peggy Stewart of the home; his mother Bonnie Stewart, also of the home; 3 sons, Jeff Stewart and wife Lori of Miami, OK, Brent Stewart and wife Rhonda of Humble, TX, and Brad Stewart and wife Margo of Stillwater, OK; his brother James Stewart and wife Susan; 9 grandchildren, Rachel, Rebekah, Madilee, Sarah, Elijah and wife Hannah, Sheradyn, Teagan, Jonathan and Edward Stewart. His father Retis Stewart preceded Jerry in death.
