Jerry Wayne Stewart

Sept. 29, 1946 ~ July 10, 2011

Jerry Wayne Stewart, 64, of Benton, Ark., died Sunday, July 10, 2011. He was born Sept. 29, 1946 in Poteau.

Jerry was an attorney in Benton for 30 years and was an avid horse racing fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nadine Stewart, and twin daughters, Jerilyn and Melissa Stewart.

He is survived by his son, Jay Stewart and wife Magen of Little Rock, Ark.; brother, Larry Stewart of Fort Smith, Ark.; granddaughter, Haylee Stewart of Benton and his former wife, Linda Stewart.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at Ashby Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Bryan Grober and The Rev. Ray Hood will officiate.
