Danny Stewart

June 5, 1945 ~ January 31, 2020 (age 74)

Graveside service for Danny Stewart will be Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Rosehill Cemetery near Hazelton. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Kiowa. www.lanmanmemorials.com Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.

Danny was born June 5, 1945 in Hardtner to Clyde and Margie Shroyer Stewart. He worked for Cities Service until they sold out and he continued working for the new company until his early retirement at the age of 59. He worked for them for 40 years. Danny volunteered many years coaching youth girls’ softball and biddy basketball. He also helped many 4-H kids with their livestock projects.

He is survived by his wife, Lavina J. Stewart; children, Gina Stewart, Tina Stewart, Dina Brown and husband, Russ and Dudley Stewart; grandchildren, Payke Brown, Darcy Stewart, Tucker Brown and Lakin Brown.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Margie Stewart; brothers, Doug Stewart and Dudley Stewart.

Memorials may be made to the OWLS Senior Center through the funeral home.
