Eugene "Gene" Stetnish
February 14, 1945 - November 15, 2020

The memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Eugene “Gene” Stetnish, 75, of Fairview formerly of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday November 20, 2020 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Erik Granberg officiating. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Eugene was born February 14, 1945 in Mountain Home, Arkansas and at nine years of age adopted into the loving family of Julian and Nancy Stetnish of Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life November 14, 2020 in Fairview, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Enid graduating from Enid High School in 1962. After school he enlisted in the United States Army. After his honorable service to his country he returned to Enid. He then began working at Hamm and Phillips as a Mechanic. He later became the head mechanic at both the Enid and Ringwood locations. He was a naturally gifted mechanic and could build engines from scratch. He had a passion for fishing, camping, and building and racing stock cars. He also enjoyed singing karaoke.

He is survived by his wife Rosalie, of the home, two children, Julian Stetnish, of Garber, and Anna Eldridge and wife Julie, of Edmond, three grandchildren and two brothers James Stetnish and wife Sherri, of Noblesville, Indiana, and Troy Kunkel and wife Dianne, of Yukon, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Nancy Oldham.
