Ruby Novella (Davis) Stephenson
January 14, 1940 ~ January 10, 2017

Ruby Novella Stephenson, resident of Collinsville, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at the age of 76 years.

Ruby was born January 14, 1940, in Liberal, Kansas, to Roy and Mary Ellen (Center) Davis. She was raised and received her education in Stilwell, graduating high school here.

Ruby lived most of her life in Tulsa where she worked as a medical assistant in the health care field. She enjoyed sewing, her vast collection of bibles, and her many church activities.

Ruby is survived by her children; Debra Johnson of Catoosa, Dean Stephenson and wife Kelli of Sand Springs, and DeAnna Stephenson of Tulsa; five grandchildren: Daniel Johnson and wife Heather, Dusten Johnson and wife Shannon, Cole Stephenson, United States Navy active duty service member Benjamin Koelsch and wife Tiffany and Malia Stephenson; three great-grandchildren; and an honorary son Kenny Loelsch.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Private memorial services for Ruby were held Friday, January 13, 2017, in the chapel of Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.

Services and cremation were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
