James Ray Steele

James Ray Steele
April 6, 1947 ~ May 16, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Steele, who was born on April 6, 1947, in Cartwright, Oklahoma, United States. James peacefully passed away on May 16, 2024.

James was the beloved son of Richard and Rosie Steele. He is survived by his son, Phillip Steele, who studied at Colbert High school and worked as a Watermelon Salesmen. James enjoyed selling watermelons around the community and was known for his passion for his work. He is also survived by his siblings Brothers Arnold Steele of Cartwright, David Steele of Cartwright, Sister Marie Mason of Cartwright and numerous nieces and nephews. James was proceeded in death by his parents and siblings Ruth, William, Johnny, Willie, Carol, Genevieve, and Danny.

James Steele will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. May he rest in peace
