Lorraine Bennett Stahlbusch, 81-year-old Marietta, OK resident, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, in the Pauls Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pauls Valley, OK. A memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Stahlbusch Family Homestead, 11248 Lou King Road, Marietta, with David Stahlbusch officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation services of Marietta.
Lorraine began this life on June 8, 1943, in Pontiac, MI, the daughter of Harold and Mildred (Dowling) Peters. She grew up in Michigan and that is also where she met the love of her life, Charles "Chuck" Stahlbusch. They married on November 27, 1961. In 1982, the two moved to Marietta where they resided together until Chuck's passing on March 26, 2022.
Lorraine loved sewing and quilting. She also had a good eye for design. So much so, that she opened her own interior design company called Interiors by Lorraine. Lorraine operated the company for more than 35 years.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mildred; husband, Chuck; and stepfather, BTO Benjamin Clark.
Those left to cherish her memory are sons, David Stahlbusch and wife Iryna and Clifford Stahlbusch and fiancée Seandee Means; daughter, Elizabeth Fowler; grandchildren, Davann Fleming and husband Rick, Daria Stahlbusch, Anna Stahlbusch, Nadya Stahlbusch, Andrew Stahlbusch, Daniel Stahlbusch, Brandon Stahlbusch, Lane Stahlbusch and wife Kaitlynn, Ty Stahlbusch and wife Christie; great-grandchildren, Rikilyn Fleming, Charlie Stahlbusch, Ava Stahlbusch, Cody Stahlbusch, Hunter Stahlbusch, Wyatt Stahlbusch, Leo Stahlbusch, and one on the way; brothers, Harold Peters and John Peters; sisters, Ann Ross and Ellen Pochay; step-brothers, Chalres Clark and Peter Clark; and step-sister, Madeline Cahill.
