Eva L. Myers St. John, 74, died Monday, October 28, 2002, at the Hospice Home in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Eva was born June 4, 1928 to Lee and Maud Myers of Reydon, Oklahoma.
She graduated from Reydon High School in 1946.
Eva married Gordon St. John in Rockford, Illinois on February 16, 1950.
She was employed for 26 years at Warner Lamber in Rockford and a member of First Assembly of God Church and the Christian Women's Club of Rockford for 20 years.
Eva performed in many plays through the Park Little Theatre Group. She was also involved in the creation of the Harlen Community Center and was an active committee person for the village of Machesney Park.
After retirement Eva and Gordon made their home at Ft. Myers, Florida.
Survivors include her husband, Gordon; daughters, Tonda {Larry} Borrison of Love Park; and Carla {Denny} Lee of Macheney Park; sons, Randy {Katie} St. John of Roscoe; and Gordy St. John of Rockford; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Ollie {Wesley} York of Durham, Oklahoma; Mable {Dan} Sadler of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by parents and brother, Ralph Myers.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2002 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Contributions can be made in loving memory of Eva to the Society for Progressive Supranuclar Palsy {PSP} Research to help find a cure for this debilitating issue.
