Linda Carol Srnsky age 65, of Dibble, Oklahoma passed away Monday, April 16, 2018, in Oklahoma City.
Linda was born September 24, 1952 in Purcell, OK. She was the oldest of five children born to Bert Thomas White and Juanita Allena (Davis) White. Linda grew up in Dibble, OK and in Monterey, California where she also attended high school. On April 21, 1967, she married the love of her life, David Allen Srnsky, a young man from Minnesota.
For the first 12 years of their marriage, Linda and David lived at different times in California and Minnesota. In 1979 they moved back to Dibble, OK. The Place she called home. While living in Dibble they raised their three daughters, Laura, Tammy and Danesa.
Linda was a caring person and throughout her life she worked as a nurse in the health care profession. She also worked for 25 years as a volunteer for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief program. She worked as a volunteer during the OKC bombing, she helped after damaging tornadoes devastated Oklahoma and Texas and she traveled to Florida after they were hit by major hurricanes.
Linda enjoyed being outdoors and enjoyed raising a garden, canning and feeding the wild birds and hummingbirds. For many years she and David enjoyed camping and traveling. While her grandchildren were growing up, she was their favorite babysitter. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She also was a special sister and aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by:
Parents, Bert and Juanita White;
One
brother, Tom White.
She is survived by:
Husband, David Srnsky of the home in Dibble.
Three daughters, Laura Graham and husband David of Washington, OK,
Tammy Rangel and husband Albert of Washington, OK,
Danesa England
and husband Adam of Dibble, OK;
Three brothers, John White and wife
Melaine of Dibble, OK,
Bert White of Little Axe, OK,
Jim White
of Okemah, OK;
One sister-in-law, Trena White of Maysville, OK;
Nine
grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren,
Many nieces, nephews and a host of
other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 20, 2018 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel, Purcell, OK. You may send online condolences to the family @wilsonlittle.com.
