Cleta Mae Spore, longtime Ponca City Resident, died March 5, 2022. She was 87.

Cleta was born on August 2, 1934 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, the daughter of Paul Robert French and Eva (James) French. She was raised in Ponca City, attending the Ponca City Public Schools.

On April 3, 1956, she married Alvin Leroy Spore.

She Never worked outside of the home. “She was a Homemaker, a good homemaker.” She loved her husband and her family.” She loved taking care of her grandchildren and spoiling them even more!

She enjoyed working in the yard, doing cross stitch, and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Paul French, her husband, Alvin , son, Larry Spore and Son-in-law Greg Leonetti.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Barbara Evans and Husband David; Sharon Leonetti, and Terri James and husband Kenny, all of Ponca City.

Her grandchildren are Mark Evans and Beth Graves; Melissa Simpson, Kailee James, Caleb James and Nichole Schnack.

Great Grandchildren, Madison Simpson, Lauren Simpson, Khloe Evans and Colin Evans.

Private Services are being with arrangements under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
