Wesley was born of October 6, 1950 in Enid to Delbert Spomer and Vera Stewart Spomer and passed from this life on January 20, 2023 at his home in Lahoma. He was raised in the Ringwood area. Wesley moved to Lahoma from Thomas and lived in Lahoma for sixteen years. After high school Wesley served in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He married Judy Wilder on September 3, 1976. Wesley was a diesel mechanic and worked for Hamm and Phillips from 1985, retiring in 2018. Wesley loved hunting, especially with his brother-in-law, Randy.
Those who preceded Wesley in death include his parents, Delbert Spomer and Vera Marlatt; his in-laws, James and Shirley Wilder; his nephew, Jamie Chappell; his brothers-in-law, Randy Newman and Mark Geiger, and his son-in-law, Tim Moore.
Survivors include his wife, Judy of Lahoma; his three children, Stephanie Lucas and Darrell, Tamra Moore, and Kari Spomer and Brian Reeves; three brothers, Dale Spomer and wife, Jarita, Ray Spomer and wife, Sandy, and Lee Spomer and wife, Doneta; two sisters, Della Geiger and Wanda Newman; grandchildren, Kyler Spomer, Mya Fury and Tyler, Tyler Moore, Xaden Moore, Tobie Moore, Carter Allison, Jurny Roberts, and Rari Reeves; great grandchildren, Nova and Avee Fury.
There will be no service for Wesley. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral
