Dixie Diane (Speir) Spencer
November 5, 1937 ~ July 18, 2020

Dixie Diane Spencer peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 18th, 2020 at 82 years of age. She was at home surrounded by the people she loved, and who loved her dearly her husband, children and grandchildren.

Dixie was born November 5th, 1937 at her home in Walters, Oklahoma to Lonnie H. Speir and Deveata E. Medrano. She graduated from Walters HS. She worked as a secretary at TAFB before leaving work to become a stay at home mom. She loved her family, cooking, camping, water skiing, fishing and spending time with family at the lake. Dixie had a generous loving heart for dogs and all animals. Dixie was a faithful Christian with a loving heart and an open home and arms to anyone in need. She had the most wonderful sense of humor with many, many witty come backs to anyone she came across she could tease.

Dixie is survived by her husband Dale Spencer of 62 years from Lake Eufaula Porum Landing, OK, daughter Diane Cox husband Kirk from OKC, OK, daughter Doni Arterbury husband Mike from Del City, OK and son Scott Spencer wife Kristy from Midwest City, OK. Grandchildren: Courtney Graves husband Jon, Caleb Cox, Alexis Weakley husband Tyler, Sarah Graham husband Cody, Brody Spencer wife Breanna, Coby Spencer, Joey Gilleland. Great Grandchildren: Judge Graves and Monroe Diane Graves. Brothers: Gary Speir of California, Steve Speir of Washington and Lex Speir of Washington Cousins: Val Thomas of Washington, Clay (Buddy) Thomas of Virginia, Jo Lynn Hough of Washington DC as well as many loving nieces, nephews and young cousins.

“The world will just not be as Sparkly and Funny without our Dixie in it.”
