Vinita, Oklahoma - Krystal was born on March 27, 1991 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Her parents are Pamela and Gary Whitetree of Sand Springs and Michael Spears of Mississippi.
Krystal grew up in Claremore and was always the jokester in her friends circle. She loved to make people laugh and always had a witty comeback or joke to help make your day better. She loved to sing and dance, loved playing video games and board games, loved to collect different items on the side of the road to turn it into something useful or pretty, and was a great artist and loved drawing Anime characters. You could always find a hand drawn picture, coloring page, or craft in her room or purse.
While Claremore was where she was born and raised, Krystal always had a wondering spirit. She always wanted to get herself a little bus to convert and drive around in. Since she didn't have a bus, you would find her walking everywhere with her headphones on, singing and dancing, and exploring wherever she went. She loved to collect items others might have discarded to turn it into something useful to reuse it or would use it in an art project. Her imagination and creativity guaranteed the family would always receive a special handmade gift for birthdays or Christmas.
Krystal is survived by her parents, Pamela and Gary Whitetree of Sand Springs and Michael Spears of Mississippi, daughter Aurora Spears of Chelsea, sister Jessica Spears of Claremore, "like a sister" cousin, Jessie Carpenter, nephew Ethan Whitetree of Sand Springs, niece Kiera Robinson of Okay, her Aunts Marie Richard of Claremore, Debbie (Lance) Cunningham of Rufe, Amy Whitetree of Houston, TX, Erin (Jasson) Brook of Sapulpa, her Grandparents Kathy Mehaulic of Claremore, and Rex Whitetree of Sapulpa, Great Grandmother Madia "Nanny" Sontag of Sapulpa, and many more cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Krystal is preceded in death by her Grandfather David F Mehaulic in 1999, Uncle David J Mehaulic in 2014, Grandmother Pat "Nana" Whitetree in 2022, and Son Elliott Whitetree in 2024.
Our family is filled with gratitude for all of our loving family members, friends, co-workers, and neighbors, not just for the food, hugs, and prayers, but for all of the continual acts of kindness during our most difficult times this month.
Krystal, your pain and turmoil has been lifted and your soul has been set free. We love you and miss you every day but are thankful you can finally have the peace you deserve. Sing Loud and Sing Proud!
