Merry Christine Speaks, age 60 of Rosedale, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018. Born on Christmas day in 1957, Merry was the 4th of 6 children born to Leslie Glenn Speaks and Vera Louise (Slaten) Speaks.
She spent her early childhood back and forth between California and Oklahoma. Merry graduated from Wayne High School with the Class of 1976. She married young, to Cliff Penner, and welcomed two children, daughter Jenifer and son, Aaron. Merry was very much the outdoors type and a handywoman in many aspects. She held a variety of jobs throughout the years, mainly in gardening and she always had a project or two going. She cherished her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed!

and husband Travis of Rosedale; Son, Aaron Penner of Rosedale;

Robbie of Eufaula Lake, Pamela Brown and husband Pete of Sioux City, IA,
Ruby Clark and husband Kenny of Kemmerer, WY and Sarah Speaks of Elmore
City;

grandchildren, Lexus Esch and husband Brandon, Jazmen Penner, Matthew
Fulton, Clifton Penner and Myka Fulton;
1 great grandson, Owen Esch
and A host of other family and friends.
Private Memorial Services are scheduled for a later date.
