Dalton Eric Spann, 46, of Ada, died July 1, 2017, at Mercy Hospital Ada.  He was born July 13, 1970, in Spokane, Washington.  He married Lori Lacy on September 15, 1996, in Danville, California.  He attended Washington State University.  Dalton moved to the Ada area in 2002.  In 2006, he graduated with a degree in business administration from East Central University.

Dalton was a lover of his God, his family, people and life itself.  He loved to laugh and brought joy to those around him through his incredible sense of humor.  He lived by a standard of excellence in everything that he did.  Dalton had a passion for music and was an avid drummer.  He taught many students to play drums through Ada Music Center.  He was a member of The Refuge church where he used his drumming to usher people into the presence of Jesus.  He was a journeyman electrician.  Dalton was employed by Mercy Hospital Ada.

Dalton is survived by his wife Lori, of the home, two sons, Connor and Jackson and one daughter, Lacy of the home.  He also leaves his sister Stacy and husband Ken Paulson of Maryland, brother David Spann of Washington, sister Lisa and husband Oscar Corona of California, sister Shelly Burns of Washington, and four nieces and two nephews.   He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews who lovingly adopted him as Uncle Dalton.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Dalton Derwood and Frances Elise Rinehardt Spann.

Service arrangements are being handled by Criswell Funeral Home in Ada. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, July 7th at 2:00 at The Refuge, 1001 Tipton Terrace, Ada, with Denny Truett officiating.
