Christine Belle Miller Spain was born December 25, 1936 to Frank A. and Eunice (Porter) Miller. She attended Davenport Public Schools graduating in 1955. She was married to Bobby Gene Lamb, to this union was born two sons, Larry Dean and Gerald Gene Lamb. She lived in the Cushing area for many years.
In May 1976, Chris married William “Bill” Spain. Bill was in the Air Force, so they moved to Plattsmouth, Nebraska, living there for many years. After retirement they moved back to Oklahoma in the Cushing area.
Thru the years she managed several different businesses and then worked as a Caregiver to others until her retirement. In later years she retired to Stroud, enjoying her life and friends for many years.
Christine was preceded in death by parents, son Larry; brother Homer Miller and his wife Debbie; and 2 sisters Delma Coleman and Leona Miller.
Survivors include son Jerry Lamb and wife Vikki and granddaughter Ashley all of Decatur, IN; siblings Betty Criess of Stroud, OK, Norma Bailey and husband Jimmy of Paden, OK, Brother in Law Johnny Coleman of Davenport, OK, Palmer Miller and wife Gayla of Sherman, TX, Johnny Miller and wife JoAn of Davenport, OK, Melvin Miller of Thomas, OK; also survived by Bill Spain of Mannford, OK; as well as extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 2:00pm at Davenport Independent First Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Miller officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
