Roy Anthony "Charlie" Sovereign passed from this life on July 16, 2018 in Vici, OK. Charlie was born March 19, 1965 to David Sovereign and Lorana "Lannie" (Tucker) Cambell in Eureka, CA. He attended elementary school in Eureka. The family moved to Raymond, WA., where Charlie also graduated from high school.
Charlie married Lorita Little on July 2, 1992 in Eureka, CA and to this union two children were born Craig J. and Scierra D. The family lived in Redding, CA till 1996 and then moved to Oklahoma. Charlie worked for Irwin Auto in Woodward detailing cars. He also worked at Woodward Mobile Homes as a mobile home installer where he earned the Mobile Home Housing Award.
Charlie loved being a father and grandpa and was known as Poptops to his grandchildren. He was a super funny guy and loved making people laugh. Charlie enjoyed fixing clocks and collecting keys. He also enjoyed making tacos, watching movies with his family, listening to music, and will be well remembered for his famous slipper fights. Charlie will always be remembered as one who did his best to help anyone that needed it. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Charlie is preceded in death by his dad David Sovereign, mom Lannie Cambell, two brothers Andy and Craig Sovereign, and daughter Scierra Sovereign.
He is survived by his son Craig Sovereign of Taloga, OK; Lorita Sovereign of Taloga, OK; son Anthony Sovereign; aunt Vera Sovereign; uncle Mike Sovereign; two sisters Tonya Chezem and Jeanette McCloskey; five grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shaw Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
