Heidi Marie Schutkesting Sorg, born Febuary 27, 1971, passed away September 17, 2018, at her home in Hennessey, after battling a lengthy illness.
She was born in Enid, Oklahoma. Heidi married her husband, Bob Sorg, on December 22, 2000.
She was an RN and worked as a traveling nurse, as well as an oncology nurse. She had a huge passion for stamping and creating beautiful greeting cards and loved to teach many people how to make beautiful cards.
She loved her dogs Buster, and Pearl, and Max the cat.
Heidi is survived by Bob Sorg, husband of the home, son Bobby Sorg and his wife Megan, two grandchildren Zachary and Noah, her parents Flo and Bobby Mills, Jack and Joyce Schutkesting, her siblings: George Mills, Annette Bryant, Charlie Mills, David Schemmer, and Edward Schemmer, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and fellow stampers.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a nephew.
Memorial service is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Hennessey Church of Christ, under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FURever Friends in Enid, with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
