Ellen May (Graham) Raue Williams Solomon of Ochelata died Monday in Ochelata. She was 88 when she departed this earthly life on December 7, 2020, after a lifetime of caring for others and loving her children and large extended family.
Ellen was born February 22, 1932, to Levi and May (Kerr) Graham in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) school in 1976 and later graduated Administrator school in 1986. She worked as administrator of Medicalodge in Dewey, OK, for 10 years, before retiring as administrator in 1994. She maintained her LPN license and worked odd jobs as an LPN from 1994 until she fully retired at the age of 76 in 2008. She was a Christian who loved the Lord, and enjoyed going to Bluestem Baptist Church in Dewey. She enjoyed various other activities such as reading, watching westerns, and sewing.
Ellen is survived by three sons: Bob Raue and his wife Judy of Mankato, MN, Carl Raue and his wife Marlys of Decatur, NE, Michael Raue of Houston, TX; two daughters Lorraine Curry and her husband James of Bartlesville, OK, and Rhonda Davis of Bartlesville, OK; one brother Bob Graham and his wife Norma of Goessel, KS; two sisters Cathy Minniear of Ochelata, OK, and Diane Graham of Washington state; 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and church family. She was preceded in death by her parents Levi and May Graham, one daughter Cynthia Williams, and two sisters Thelma Rabb and Lucy Gantt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10-8 and Thursday 9-1 at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bluestem Baptist Church, 327 E Durham Ave, Dewey, OK 74029.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel.
